Ruth Orekogbe is an AI implementation consultant and founder of LiberatedAI, based in Edmonton. With a career that spans from working at a globally recognized IT firm to collaborating with organizations ranging from startups to a multinational retailer, Ruth brings a strong technical foundation and proven experience in the AI and innovation space. Early in her career, she led an innovation project for a major Canadian retailer, managing relationships with over 500 suppliers, partners, and brokers, an experience that sharpened her expertise in agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Over the years, Ruth has completed Machine Learning and Deep Learning programs, developing both theoretical and practical knowledge of artificial neural networks and business-focused AI applications. She has applied this expertise as a Machine Learning Analyst and AI Educator at an organization that supports small businesses, where she contributed to AI educational content, performed business data assessments, and identified research and partnership opportunities. Ruth has also served as an Executive at WiSER (Women in Science, Engineering, and Research), where she organized campaigns to support early-career women and minority youth in STEM.
